Here We Go!
Tomorrow evening (Monday the 11th) our first flight will depart on our journey back to the Philippines. We take off from Phoenix to Los Angeles then from Los Angeles straight to Manila, Philippines. While there is sadness for all we leave behind (family, friends and our churches), we are very excited to go back to our home across the ocean.
We deeply appreciate your prayers for our travels.
Once in Manila, we will have a week long conference with our aviation staff from all parts of the Philippines. We are excited to spend time with them and have that be the start for the next season of ministry for us.
We have been in Arizona for the last two weeks, getting back in the helicopter after not flying for 6 months, communicating with our leadership here, as well as spending time with our coworkers who serve at our headquarters here. We so enjoy spending time here with the people that make our ministry possible.

Furlough Reflections
What a blessing this furlough has been, we cannot express the gratitude we have for our family, friends and church families for taking such good care of us these last 6 months. We are happy to report that we feel rested and ready to return to our home in the Philippines!
Here are a few highlights from our furlough.
- Girls participated in 2 VBS programs, Sunday schools, and multiple kids’ church.
- Getting to experience the Michigan Fall season.
- Time with family in Canada and Arkansas, especially the girls getting to know them better. They were so young when we left in 2022 so they hardly knew them.
- Petting zoos, roller skating, Children’s Museum, rodeo, Chucky Cheese, plus dozens of parks and play dates with special friends!

Vehicle Project - Complete!
A few months ago, we launched a project to raise funds for the purchase of a car in the Philippines. We are excited to share that the project has been completely funded! It has been a privilege to see God’s provision in this and we are deeply humbled by the generosity of the people in our life. We want to thank the donors who contributed and specifically thank our sending church Heritage Baptist Church in Kentwood for taking on this project.

Prayer Requests
Travel
For all the travel happening over the next couple days.
Transitions
We have finished the big goodbyes with family. There are smiles of joy mixed with tears as our families send us off again. We are blessed beyond measure to have families who support us, despite the sacrifices it costs them.
Teaching
Remember our coworkers who were in the midst of teaching?! Praise God, they finish the first phase of teaching, ending in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus! Pray for them as they continue teaching and discipling new believers.
