We are beyond thrilled to be expecting our first child this July! Thankfully, Abigail has been feeling great! She is thrilled to be able to deliver at her hospital, on the Labor and Delivery unit that she loves and knows so well. We thank God for this gift of life!
Currently, we are living in Grand Rapids, MI. Ryan was happy to get a job in the area as a flight instructor for Western Michigan University. Weather conditions have recently limited flight time so we are hoping that the Spring will bring him more flight hours.
WHAT’S NEXT?
We had such an encouraging time in McNeal, Arizona where Ryan was evaluated as a pilot/mechanic with Ethnos360 Aviation (formerly New Tribes Mission Aviation). We are happy to report that we have been ACCEPTED as a pilot/mechanic!
Having successfully completed the evaluation, we will be heading to Roach, Missouri where we will attend the Missionary Training Center (MTC). As opposed to the Bible school we attended in 2011-2013, the MTC is a more practical training tool in equipping career missionaries. Some things we will be learning include: language learning tools, partnership development, solar/electrical systems, discipleship, health and medical while living overseas, teamwork etc. We will be moving to Missouri, Lord willing, this August and complete their 9 month training program. To fully invest ourselves in this training, neither one of us will be working while there. We would ask you to be praying for the Lord’s provision for the cost of the training plus living expenses during this time. We have seen Him do it over and over again so we choose to trust in Him.
